AAAA record not working

Hello,

my IPv6 DNS AAAA-record is not working since 2020/10/21 1:58:33 pm UTC now. DNS response is empty, dynv6 weppage says “all good”. IPv4 DNS A-record of same FQDN is working fine.

Is there a dynv6 DB problem with my FQDN or is there a generally dynv6 problem?

AAAA record got lost

I noticed that the update URL for IPv6 now need to contain &ipv6prefix=... It doesn’t need to be the real Prefix but something that looks like a IPv6 Prefix. This value is show on the website but not used as far as I can tell. There is a Resource Records created for the domain with the IPv6 that is mentioned in the update URL like before. After that I can resolve the AAAA record for my dyn domain. I use 2000:: as my hard coded bogus IPv6 Prefix ...&ipv6prefix=2000::&... Depending on yo…

thank you for yout hint. Now it works again, but without any change. Seems that someone of dynv6 heard me and fixed the problem

PS: I always use full IPv6 adress in “&ipv6=” parameter.
